So, I read something interesting the other day.

Apparently Bil Clinton and Obama are going to meet. Looks like Bill plans on helping him out. I admit it. I am a bit shocked. The Obama camp said some vile things about Bill. Especially Obama's wife.

Looking for fun Halloween costumes?

Sure, I know what you are thinking right now. It is in the middle of freaking summer so what am I doing thinking about Halloween costumes? If I said I was looking forward to the candy, would you believe me? Okay, okay, that is not true. I am actually thinking about Halloween costumes as I think they are pretty cool and it can be pretty fun to get all dressed up as something silly for Halloween. And you cannot tell me that it is not fun for you to! So anyways, I am always looking out for something cool to dress up as and I also do not want to be dressed like anyone else so I also have to look for something that is kind of unique. And that can be rather difficult at times so that is why I like to try to start early. And I have found some really sweet costumes for Halloween already at a site called Costume Cauldron. And, well, the site is less than visually appealing. It kind of looks like a retarded five year old designed it. But thankfully it appears that a talented and nonretarded person did the costumes. There are few that I really like. The 'Sexy Eskimo Cutie' is a fun costume. So is the 'Adult Skull Fairy' - I actually really like that one. It might just be my fave on the site.

Well, if you need the Halloween hookup, be sure to check them out today.

Have a look at the info below to get more info on Sex Health Guru today!

SexHealthGuru.com Launches Video Website for Sexual Health
Sex Finally Arrives on the Internet!
New York, NY, June 18th, 2008 – When Sex Health Guru (www.SexHealthGuru.com) went live today, it became the first website of its kind in more ways than one. Most online health websites are focused on the baby boomer generation and rely upon the oldest media – text. By contrast, SexHealthGuru.com is built around new media – video content – and was created for an overlooked portion of the online health market – 18 to 40 year olds.
Effective communication with this demographic requires a different approach then the formulaic one typically taken by traditional health websites. While the content still needs to be built on a foundation of easy-to-understand expert information, it is only relevant to this audience if it’s presented in an engaging, media-friendly format.
Sex Health Guru offers over 200 videos in categories including Birth Control, STDs, Sex Health, Sex Skills, and Sex 101. These videos were created to entertain as well as inform, and deliver an enjoyable viewing experience, on par with the best short-form web clips in entertainment. Even so, every video is hosted by a medical expert, like an OB-GYN, and provides valuable information in a straightforward, easy-to-understand format.
Although SexHeathGuru.com is a new website, this is not the first foray into web video for FullTurn Media, the site’s parent company. FullTurn Media, through the illumistream health brand, is already the largest provider of health video on the web, with over 30 million video views in each of the last two months.
In the wake of the recent CDC study which concluded that 26% of American teenage girls have an STD, FullTurn Media CEO Joshua Silberstein said, “Sex education in the United States isn’t working. People need easy access to accurate, unbiased information about STDs and birth control. More than that – they need that information in a format that will resonate with them.” Sex Health Guru (www.sexhealthguru.com) may be a real first step towards that vision.
About FullTurn Media
FullTurn Media produces and distributes “expert-centric” short-form video content under the illumistream health and SexHealthGuru brand names, and has a library of over 750 videos. Each video features a doctor or relevant expert, and answers a complex question in a straightforward manner. The videos are developed in a dynamic, engaging format, and organized into easily accessible series.

Need some stacking tables and chairs?

You know, some times I think about starting a business that does a lot of special event planning and things like that. Of course, when you do something like that you need to have things like Stacking tables and chairs that you can use at the events because people will need to have places to sit and most special events have food so that means that people will need to have a place to eat or to at least put their plates and drinks down at for a little while. And if you had to buy all of those your self and store and transport them that could be pretty darn expensive for your new little business. Luckily there is a place that does all of that for you without a headache and you can just rent them out for any type of special event or banquet or conference. You see, Burgess Furniture is the place that I am talking about and they make it easy to run a special event planning business as they take the worry out of what to do about tables and chairs. So why not have a look at their website and see if they can help you out with your next special event too?

They even have some useful info on working abroad for those graduates that are considering taking a job offer that would put them in a new country. Actually, I cannot honestly say that I have ever seen that listed on a career guide site and I would have liked to have seen that when I was first entering the job market. You will also find some great stuff under the 'lifestyle and gap year' section of the website. There was a lot of fun and useful stuff that I was reading in that particular section.

Al Gore too

A great place to visit in Orange, TX

Are a fan of art like me? If you are then I suspect that you also like to check out local art museums when you are on vacation. If not, you might want to think about the possibility of adding in a little culture to your vacations and checking out things like art museums. You see, there are some great art museums out there that you could visit while you are on vacation and still do other things as well. For instance, there is an art museum in Texas that you will want to check out the next time that you find yourself in the area. The museum that I am talking about is the Stark Museum of Art which you will find located in the city of Orange, Texas.

You will notice that the Stark Museum of Art is a great place for you to visit if you are interested in learning more about the art of the American West. You will see that they actually have several collections at the Stark Museum of Art that really explore the art of the American West. You can view collections pertaining to the art of the American West such as Western Art, American Indian Art, Decorative Arts, and Rare Books and Manuscripts.

At the Stark Museum of Art you will find paintings, sculptures and prints from the 19th and 20th centuries that focus on the American West experience. You can learn more about these exhibits and other things that you will find in the Stark Museum of Art by checking out their website at www.starkmuseum.org and clicking on "collections" to read more about each collection that they have on exhibit at the Stark Museum of Art. You can also get info on the history of the place as well.

Its purpose is to enrich the quality of life in Southeast Texas through education and arts. And eventually the Stark Museum of Art opened up in 1978. And the Stark Museum of Art actually still acquires pieces for its collection to this day!

Hillary is the best candidate

I do not care what people say. Hillary is the best candidate. She stomped Obama in Kentucky last night. Just like she stomped him in West Virginia. And he did not stomp her in Oregon. Of course they are not done with those results just yet. I just hope that the DNC realizes it. Otherwise, I do not even know that I will bother voting in November.

Woot, woot - it is time for some season finales. Tonight is the finale of Bones. It is also the finale of House. I am pretty stoked about both. But I am really stoked about Bones. I mean, will Booth live?

What about a stateless society?

You know, there are a lot of things about the world that are both confusing and just plain hard to understand. And government is one of those things. There is a site about there called Free of State that wants us to think about things like a Stateless Society. What would be so hard about having thoughts of things like alternative government, no government, and alternative currency ideas. In fact, this Free of State site asks what about a world with no war and no enemy. Man, what a world that would be! I am all for that, so put me on that list ASAP. This is certainly an interesting concept. They describe a stateless society as a being a society that is need based as opposed to greed based. It is certainly something that is interesting and sounds a bit like utopia. Before you pass any type of judgment on this type of idea you should really check out the Free of State website and read what they are all about. And get a really good feel for their ideas. And then ask your self what would be so bad about a world with no enemy and no war?

Love is in the air - Ashlee and Pete too!

Looks like Ellen and Portia aren't the only ones with marriage on their minds. In fact, it seems to be going around! Only these two love birds actually tied the knot!

Sources are saying that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz got married yesterday! The ceremony took place at the Simpson house. No photos of it have surfaced yet though.

Ultimate Paintball is where it is at

You know, I like to go outside and have a lot of fun but one of the things that I have not yet tried is paintball. But you know what? It looks like a ton of fun! If you are new to paintball like me then let me do you a favor and tell you of the best place to go for all of your paintball gear and equipment. The place that you need to check out is called Ultimate Paintball and you will quickly see that not only do they offer up the best prices around but they also have free shipping too! Ellen and Portia to marry!

Wow, what some news! Apparently Ellen DeGeneres announced on her show that she plans to marry girlfriend Portia de Rossi. Of course, this can happen now that the supreme court in California said banning gay marriage was unconstitutional. Pretty, exciting huh? Can't wait to see those wedding photos! Kudos to them!

Skip the Hallmark store!

You know, it seems like every birthday or holiday or Christmas or whatever I am getting these lame freaking cards from people. I mean, do not get me wrong, it is nice and all that they went to all of the trouble of looking through cards trying to find something suitable for me. But let us face some facts here - those mass produced cards are pretty general and are mass produced for the general population so it is rather difficult to get something special for someone since there is practically no way to do that at these places like the Hallmark store. Sure, you could make your own but only if you are the artsy type. Well, I have found a better idea. And that idea is using Photo Cards from Cards Direct instead. You see, with photo cards you can completely customize them and make them say whatever you want. And that is freaking cool. Plus you could totally make them like your version of stationery, which could be kind of sweet, right? You would totally stand out if you did that plus it would make you more memorable in a sense. And it would also make it look like you took more time and cared more. If you are interested in photo cards you should have a look at some of the options at Cards Direct. I have put a pic of my fave photo card design below.

Local bands as opening acts

So, I mentioned I went to a concert last night. It was for Augustana and David Ford. Augustana sucked ass. David Ford was amazing as usual. Then there was some local band that opened too. They were actually kinda lame. Yet, they were better than Augustana. I kinda wish they had let David Ford play longer though. That was lame too.

get your financial advice on

You know, it is no secret that the economy here in the United States is going no where good fast. In fact, it seems to be tanking pretty rapidly. And while that is not a good thing, it is even worse when you consider the fact that for the first time like ever Americans have a negative savings rate. So not only are they not saving any money they are going way into debt instead. And you know that is really not a good thing because how will they manage to stay afloat in this recession that some say is already here and others say is on the way. It seems to me that a majority of the people in the United States could benefit quite a great deal from getting a little of some of the Independent Financial Advice that is offered up by places like Source Independent Financial Advisers. They even offer a free consultation at Source Independent Financial Advisers with absolutely no obligations what so ever. And you know, everyone has their own financial needs so why not look for an affordable solution to actually meeting those needs with the people from Source Independent Financial Advisers. They can give you practical advice no matter what stage of life you are in and planning for from planning a child's education to getting ready to be buying a house to looking for protection for your family to saving for retirement and Inheritance Tax planning. So why not give them a shout out today to see what they can do for you and your family.

Augustana - you suck in concert

Last night I went to a concert at the HOB. The headliner was Augustana. I really like their "Boston" song. Their live show was horrible. They may in fact be the worst live performers ever. They seemed like it was their first live performance. I was less than impressed with them. And I hate that I stayed till the end of their set just to hear "Boston." It sounds better on the radio.

Of course, you can also just buy poker chips that have never been used for your collection as well, or you could play with them in local games if you wanted I suppose. At Poker Chest they have some really cool poker chips that you can buy. And their prices are pretty good as well. I really like the High Roller Poker Chips - 11.5 Gram with Denominations. Man, ever feel like you just need a vacation? I know I do right now! And I do not even have a place that I am wanting to go real bad. I have just been looking at some travel blogs and it makes me want to take a trip some place. Of course, I would have to look for budget vacation tips or something. And I keep seeing all these awesome photos of expensive places on Vagabonish.com that really makes me want to go somewhere nice in Europe. Too bad I can't find a chicken that lays golden eggs!

SocialSpark is Live!

I have been using a couple of different sites that pay you to blog about certain things for about a year now. In fact, this post is one of those types of blog posts. You see, one of the sites that I use a lot is owned by IZEA and they have just recently launched another site that pays you to blog called SocialSpark. The thing is that SocialSpark is a little bit different than the other site. First off, SocialSpark is set up that it has a bit more of a social network or a community feel to it. You see, with SocialSpark bloggers can create profiles so that they can interact with the other bloggers on the site. For an example, check out the profile for Heather in Beautiful BC and you will see a real blogger profile. It is easy to see how this site is designed to double as a bit of a social network. In my experience there are not as many opps on this site as on its sister site, which is PayPerPost. I also think that the opps on PPP end up having a higher payout. This is somewhat due to their being more opps on PPP but it is largely due to dynamic pricing on Social Spark. Basically that means that you might see an opp for $10 but if demand goes up before you get it then you could end up getting paid a lower amount. The lowest I have seen is $5.50. I have also noticed that the required word count on SocialSpark is generally a bit higher than on PPP. So with the combo of higher word counts and less pay, SocialSpark is less than appealing to me. However, I do think it is worth checking out and I will do opps from there from time to time. I just do not love it like I thought I would.

How would you feel about a life without central government? You might not know what to think about that just yet, and that is okay because you can get some info on such a thing from the Stateless Society Website. At the Stateless Society Website you will learn about what life could be like without a central government. I am talking about a world community without war. Would that be awesome or what? The site is a really informative site and if you have never thought about things like this before it will probably really open up your mind and way of thinking to this new possibility. Just think about it for a moment - imagine a society without external controls, war, and profit-driven government. What a world that would be!

Listening to Phone Calls Impairs Driving

I hate cell phones. And I hate trying to drive some place while other drivers are talking on their cell phones. They usually end up driving along below the speed limit completely in the way. Or they are not paying attention and almost kill you.

Well, new research shows that just listening to phone calls can impair driving.

According to a new brain imaging study that posted its new findings in the journal Brain Research, further doubt has been cast on the idea that hands-free cell phones are safer for drivers. Just the act of listening, researchers found, appears to divert much of the brain resources that would normally go toward navigating the road.
