Mike Huckabee signed with CAA!?!?!
You know, I used to think that Mike Huckabee was a tool. Then he ended up shaking up the race.
Now it looks like he might shake up Hollywood.
Apparently, Huckabee has signed up with Creative Artists Agencies (CAA).
What does that mean? Who knows! But I tell ya - I am scared! I mean - does he really need an agent? If so, why?

Bumblefucked
You know what I like? I like sites that have fun little domain names. I came across a new one just this week. It is called Bumblefucked. They even went and made up a definition for the word. Of course, I saw that there already was one up at Urban Dictionary.
But still, it is a good fun time. I am adding it to my reader too.

life without central government
How would you feel about a life without central government? You might not know what to think about that just yet, and that is okay because you can get some info on such a thing from the Stateless Society Website. At the Stateless Society Website you will learn about what life could be like without a central government. I am talking about a world community without war. Would that be awesome or what? The site is a really informative site and if you have never thought about things like this before it will probably really open up your mind and way of thinking to this new possibility. Just think about it for a moment - imagine a society without external controls, war, and profit-driven government. What a world that would be!

Listening to Phone Calls Impairs Driving
I hate cell phones. And I hate trying to drive some place while other drivers are talking on their cell phones. They usually end up driving along below the speed limit completely in the way. Or they are not paying attention and almost kill you.
Well, new research shows that just listening to phone calls can impair driving.
According to a new brain imaging study that posted its new findings in the journal Brain Research, further doubt has been cast on the idea that hands-free cell phones are safer for drivers. Just the act of listening, researchers found, appears to divert much of the brain resources that would normally go toward navigating the road.
More info here.

need some tunes?
You know, I have a creative zen mp3 player but I do not have a lot of songs on it. If you want to know why it is because until now, it seems like all I could find were places that wanted to charge almost a buck per song. And that buck per song really starts to add up until it becomes not affordable at all. So instead of having the latest new music on my mp3 player for work I just have had some old stuff. But I just found out that you can get unlimited music at Napster for only $12.95 a month! That is unlimited as in as many songs as you want! Alright! And even better - they have a totally free 7 day trial that you can try them out with - and you get to keep our tunes if you cancel! Sweet! If you want to Download Unlimited Music for 7 Days w/ Free Naspter Trial then what are you waiting for? Get started already! In fact, I have already beat you to it mate! I can't wait to fill up my mp3 player with some sweet new tunes! Off to look for some more songs right this minute!

A federal appeals court dismissed a lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee over the party's decision to strip Florida of its delegates to its national convention.
But the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in a ruling released Friday, said the lawsuit "raises a number of interesting and potentially significant questions," and gave the plaintiff an opening to amend and refile the lawsuit.
The plaintiff, Victor DiMaio, a Democratic Party activist from Tampa, Fla., said he would refile.
This sucks for Hillary. And for me!

Fallen Jericho patriarch Gerald McRaney has been cast as the estranged pop of Angie Harmon's Lindsay on Women's Murder Club. Dad is described as a dirty ex-cop who has few friends on the force. And that includes his daughter. The two have been estranged for seven years. And his mere presence gives her the creeps. She even refuses to call him "Dad," which is never a good thing.

Michigan gets a do-over
Well, I for one am glad. Apparently Michigan will re-do their primary. It will take place on June 3rd. And I think that is the same day as the new Florida one.
So, thankfully Hillary will have a chance to get all of those delegates she won the first time.
Of course, they should have just given them to her anyway. Especially in Florida since Obama's name was on the ballot.
Man, I will be glad when she stomps him though.

Using Wordpress in a blog
As I mentioned I have another blog where I use Wordpress.
I started out here with blogger. Mostly because it was free but also because it was easy to work with.
Wordpress is easy too but parts of it are a little advanced.
The easiest way to install it for me was through Dreamhost. They have a one click install for Wordpress.
Just one click and you are pretty much ready to go. It is editing the themes that can be a bit tricky for me!

Hillary-Obama?
Well, I can't believe it.
Apparently Hillary is making the rounds this morning. Not surprising considering her wins last night.
But she has been saying something surprising.
She is suggesting a Hillary-Obama ticket. Isn't that something!
But I think he is too cocky to take it. We shall see though.

So, I got pretty stoked about her getting in the rock & roll hall of fame.
I was planning on making the drive to Cleveland for it. I figured she'd be pretty accessible there.
Imagine my upset when I heard it was gonna be in NYC :(
And what's up with Justin Timberlake inducting her?

all natural shampoo line!
You know, I spend a lot of time when it comes to finding things that I think are okay and high quality to put on my skin and in my hair. I do not like to bring in a lot of toxins or a lot of harsh chemicals. I do not think that is a good thing for the skin or the hair at all. That is why I try to stay on the look out for things that are more natural and less artificial. And that goes from things like food to things like a natural shampoo. I just feel better about something when I know that it is all natural.
Well, I have recently discovered a new line of natural shampoo and conditioner called naked naturals. They are a really great line of all natural things. The Naked Naturals like actually contains plant protein and it is supposed to make your hair up to three times stronger! When I tried out the Naked Naturals Line I tried the Awapuhi and Lavendar shampoo and conditioner. And first let me say that it smells great. And it left my hair feeling and looking just fantastic after I used it.
If you would like to try out this great new natural line of shampoos and conditioners then you only need to look no farther than you local Walgreens! They carry this line right now so check it out!

Flashcard Friends Combines Social Networking and Online Learning
Second generation Web 2.0 entrepreneurs create a FREE “social learning” website for students, homeschoolers and teachers
Belmont, CA. – February 21, 2008 – Flashcard Friends combines social networking—a la Facebook and MySpace—with online learning. The inspiration for Flashcard Friends came when the founders of the company, Kendall and Ryan Hogan (now ages 15 and 12) were being forced to create flashcards by their whip-cracking father. They complained that “flashcards are lame…why can’t we do them on the Internet…and why can’t they be fun like MySpace.” Their father, Mike, a web 2.0 entrepreneur, started asking questions about how it might work. Kendall and Ryan described a social network where students could create flashcards and share them with their classmates; or teachers could create flashcards and share them with their students.
With the help of their father, Ryan and Kendall defined what they wanted their website to do. Then their father recruited a top-notch team of developers and got it built. You can now see their website at www.Flashcardfriends.com. Following in their father’s footsteps, Kendall and Ryan are second generation web 2.0 entrepreneurs.
Old school (printed) flashcards are a powerful and proven memorization tool. By using them, Kendall and Ryan were able to substantially improve their test scores. But online flashcards enable a lot of very powerful capabilities. For example, spelling, pronunciation of foreign words, automated testing and correction, images, all of this and more is a snap with Flashcard Friends.
Once the flashcards are in the system, you can share them with friends. The Hogan kids are now looking forward to the day when they return from summer break, only to inherit online flashcards from the class ahead of them. In addition to finding flashcards through friends, you can navigate through flashcard decks by category (e.g. math > algebra), or search by tags, keywords, and more.
Some of the website’s functionality:
• Create flashcards with text, pictures and sounds (ideal for foreign languages)
• Four different learning modes: find one that fits you, or use them all
• Auto-magically creates tests from the flashcards and then corrects them
• Uses social networking to manage sharing card decks
• Find existing flashcards by subject, school, teacher, book and more
• Speak into your computer and add the recording to the cards instantly
• Turns a spelling list into spelling flashcards with a spoken version of each word
• Includes web 2.0 technologies like user ratings, bookmarking and tagging
• …and much more
Flashcard Friends enables students to create flashcards, share them, memorize them and then test themselves. Flashcards can be used at every level, from Kindergarten to post-graduate, and for every topic, from learning colors to preparing for the legal bar exam, learning a language, or studying for the SAT.
Nancy Ferraro 5th Grade Teacher, Granite Bay, CA: “I was very excited to discover Flashcard Friends. I introduced it to my 5th grade students, and we have been using it ever since. The students like how easy the site is to navigate, but they are so jazzed to see their friends’ flashcards. My students have already exchanged flashcards on multiplication, fractions, the 13 colonies, and space. All this in one week! I will definitely use this site for all of my classroom flashcard needs.”
About Flashcard Friends
Flashcard Friends, the social learning website, is pioneering the powerful combination of social networking and online learning. The company was founded by students, for students. Make an easy $5
If you are like me then you are always looking for some pretty easy ways to make some extra cash from the comfort of your own home. I know that I am always on the look out for things like that. In fact I try to read a lot of those blogs that focus on ways to make some extra money on the web and how to make some extra money from home. One of the ways that I have found to make some easy money is by finding those web sites that pay you to do surveys on the web. And a recent one that I came across is running a great special where you can make even more money. It is like extra extra money! If you act pretty quickly you can take advantage of a $5 Signup Bonus "Limited Time Offer" Get Paid by PayPal to take Surveys Online and all you have to do is to give them your email address and your zip code. That is it. It is as easy as that and bam you get five bucks to your account by PayPal. And you need to act on this pretty soon as it is a $5 Signup Bonus "Limited Time Offer" as in it will not be around for ever and ever. And it would suck to miss out on that sweet five buck bonus for acting now. So basically the cost of you procrastinating could be to the tune of five bucks if you end up missing out on this one.
Before you get all skeptical let me just say that this is a totally legitimate site. And you will totally get that five buck sign up bonus. In fact, as soon as I found out about it I went and signed up and I got a confirmation email. Once I confirmed my account the five bucks was sitting there in my account.
They pay out by PayPal which is very convenient for me. Signing up with this is quick and easy. It is really quite painless and you get five bucks! And so far the site has paid out $1,464,256.90 in rewards that have already been paid! That is like an average of $77.69 per person! Sweet, huh?

Here she comes!
The day is almost upon us.
The day that I am talking about is March 4th.
That will be the day that Hillary gives Obama the smackdown.
She will win all of the 3/4/08 states! Yes, she will!

Obama is a douche
I am a hardcore Democrat.
I've supported Hillary from the beginning.
But I was prepared to vote for whoever is the Dem nominee.
And now I'm not so sure. I don't like Obama.
The more I learn about Obama the more I dislike him.
I can't vote for Obama. And I won't vote for Obama.

I will vote for Hillary, but I won't vote for Obama
There is a fierce race going on for the democratic nomination this year. It's Clinton versus Obama. I've supported Hillary all along. And with the things that I have learned about Obama - I can't vote for him if he gets the nomination.
There is really no difference between Obama and McCain. That's why I think we need to stop Obama.

Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson's hot lesbian love scene
I think Penelope Cruz is a super hottie. Scarlett, not so much. But if they are making out I will so watch!
Check out this info on their blow your socks away love scene that is going to be in a new movie:
Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson are to steam up the big screen in Woody Allen's new movie - by taking part in a reported lesbian sex scene. The actresses will lock lips and get hot and heavy in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which also features Cruz's boyfriend Javier Bardem. According to British tabloid The Sun, Allen's aiming for one of the most erotic scenes in movie history. A source tells the publication, "People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and the whole scene will leave the audience gasping."

Scarlett Johansson engaged?
Well, apparently not.
Seems that Scarlett Johansson has dismissed reports she's engaged to marry her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds. When did they even start dating? Did I totally miss that one?
So why do peeps think she is getting married? Cause she was looking at wedding dresses.
Only they were for someone else's wedding! ha!

The Grammy's Sucked
Did you catch the Grammy's earlier tonight? Was it just me or did they totally suck?
I think they totally sucked ass.
And I think that their extreme ass-suckage can be summed up in one performance.
The Beatles thing with the interpretive dancing.
What the hell was that about anyways? I am scarred for life now.

Time is a valuable asset
I do not know if you have ever tried to run a business like me, but there is one thing that I learned pretty quickly when it came to project management. And that is that time is a valuable asset. So that is why I was exited to read an interview with the author of a new book about project management that says that time is indeed a valuable asset. If you do not already feel this way you may change your mind. At least go and give this excellent interview a read!

Why is Obama misleading people?
If you have been paying any attention at all to what is going on in the race for the Democratic nomination then you know that that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are in a pretty intense race right now.
I've have been following it pretty closely and logged on to both of their website today to see what was going on.
Immediately upon seeing Obama's site I noticed that something was askew. Have a look at the number of states won.
While on his blog it states:
Hrm. New Mexico is still counting. So, why the difference in numbers? And also take a look at his number of delegates above. Then head on over to CNN Politics and have a look at their number of delegates. Hillary has more delegates that Obama with or without the super delegates.
So the question is - why does he have such obviously misleading info on his site?
Mr. Obama - just because you say something does not make it truth.

Just two weeks ago we were behind by double-digits in many of the states that voted yesterday, but Barack won 13 states to 8 states for Hillary Clinton, with one state (New Mexico) still counting votes.

I can't believe it. Mitt Romney has suspended his campaign. It's crazy! I mean, he made that speech on Super Tuesday about going all the way. And now he is pretty much out. Insanity! And he practically endorsed McCain! Even more crazy, huh?

For more info, see below.
QlipMedia (http://www.qlipmedia.com) has just launched the public beta version of ElectionQlips (http://www.electionqlips.com), a new destination to discuss all that is Election 2008. Readers can share their comments with the community and leave comments on Presidential Election themed video posts using their recorded voice, free-hand drawing, and images to let everyone know what they think and how they feel about every point in the posted debates, ads, punditry and stump speeches.
As the nation’s attention increasingly focuses on the outcomes of the ongoing primary elections and the general election to follow this November, viewers of ElectionQlips can stayed tuned to all the exciting action, including voice and video comments of their fellow citizens. And anyone can bring their wit and wisdom to bear on the debate of the moment, commenting to their heart’s content with their own voice and images.
The blogosphere has always been about giving a voice to common ‘netizens’, while democratizing the dissemination of the news and opinion. But heretofore that voice has been confined to the two dimensional world of the written word. The broad appeal of video has added a third dimension, a layer of contextual relevancy just not possible with the written word alone. Blog commenting has been similarly constrained by the same technical barriers. ElectionQlips brings multimedia blogging full circle, giving blog commenters the ability to post live, multimedia comments right on the videos they’re viewing in their own voice, using their own doodles and images.
• 100+ million blogs in existence
• 1.5 million blog posts per day
• 1 blog with multimedia commenting capability
ElectionQlips users can take their election debate with them by sharing the link and embedding the player anywhere. On the video timeline, it’s easy to bring out all the facts with every detail of the debate through point-by-point analysis. The density of comments at every point let’s one see what’s hot and what’s not in every debate.
The goal of ElectionQlips is to make it possible for everyone to participate in any debate, discussion and controversy using their own voice. Commenting on blog posts is a common enough, ElectionQlips gives an edge over other contemporary election blogs, especially with respect to sharing your comments and opinions.
